I have tried many different brands of hair dye in the past few years, including a horrifying henna experience that turned my hair orange, and several pricey salon visits to use Aveda hair color, and Naturtint was the best hair color of them all!Even though my hair had different variations of color to begin with (orange ends, gray at roots), the Naturtint colored it all in a completely natural brown.One thing I did notice (as I think is true with most dyes) is that the color came out much darker than I'd expected - I thought that might happen so I had picked a light brown, which came out med/dark brown.Very easy to use and no bad smell!!!!!The dye took very quickly (twenty minutes) and also stained skin quickly - so use caution when using.My only complaint is that the directions are in several different languages, and I almost missed a step in English because of the way it is designed.Very happy overrall - covered the gray completely and doesn't look fake.
