I bought this over a year ago at my stylist's recommendation.I have to color every four weeks and really could go every three but it's just getting too expensive.I've started using this that last week or slightly more and it's great.I use it right up to the day I get my color.Having it on the roots doesn't prevent the new color from taking.My color is single process with a lot of red showing where the gray is over my dark brown hair.I tried the auburn but the dark brown works better so I'd recommend choosing the darker color if you have to choose between two shades in your hair.
