Orange is a really great color. After trying lots of reds and also black, orange is my favorite color that I have tried. My natural hair color is brown so I bleached it to a yellowish white color and then put in Tiger Lily. I let it sit in my hair for about an hour (I don't have much patience) and rinsed it out. I love the color its super vibrant and totally stands out.The one few things the kinda suck it the first off it stains EVERYTHING...but...you kinda want that...for your hair at least. It stained my shower curtain my shower floor my counters, but if you use limeaway or some sort of bleach and let it sit it should come out pretty easily.
Another thing is, I personally love standing out in a crowd, but if you don't like that sort of attention DO NOT DO IT! The first day I had orange hair (REALLY REALLY REALLLY long ago) I remember all the looks that i was getting and lots of kids would point and say..ORANGE HAIR! So don't do orange if you don't like that.
The fading process was actually really awesome. My hair started a construction cone orange color then after a few washes it started fading and eventually by the time i was able to do my hair again it was a pale orange it was really great!
