This is the best permanent hair dye I've found.Preference smelled horrible and Colorsilk was ok, but not as high in quality as Nice N Easy.I had used Natural Instincts Brass Free (non-permanent) in medium brown, but was tired of how quickly the brassiness returned.This shade of Nice N Easy toned down the orange/red and blended my hair color nicely.I had shades of dark and medium brown and this evened out the color.It starts off a nice deep dark brown, and fades to a deep medium brown.I wish it didn't fade so quickly, because it's really a nice color for the first 3 weeks.It doesn't fade orange, like some dyes, but just looks a little dull after the first 3 weeks.Overall, if you're looking for a permanent hair dye Nice N Easy is a good choice.
