I have used this color and other colors by natural instincts and it always comes out different from the box. It is always darker, much darker. Then I wash it a few times and it fades a little and it is then closer to the color I wanted, but still darker. This hair color is great if you just want to very slightly change the tone of your natural color to a darker note and cover gray hair.
