This was my first time dyeing my own hair and I chose the Healthy Look Cool Chestnut Brown.It actually came out very pretty -- dark brown with hints of dark red.I think it should be called chocolate cherry.It added a nice softness and shine to my hair.And it didn't smell bad whatsoever.The second time I dyed my hair, I used L'Oreal Excellence Creme and the ammonia odor was so bad I was gagging and could barely stand it.Only then did I really appreciate the pleasant smell of the Healthy Look line.I also feel that L'Oreal Excellence Creme made my hair dry and dull looking -- it didn't have the shine that I got with the Healthy Look.The only thing I didn't like about the Healthy Look kit was the subpar plastic gloves and the choice of only one applicator tip.If L'Oreal used the same latex gloves and combed applicator tip provided in the Excellence kit, it would be perfect.Click Here to see more reviews about: L'Oreal Healthy Look Creme Gloss Color 1 application
